Fit & sizing guide

Leumas is a Canadian online menswear store for men 170 cm and shorter. Instead of trusting a size label, every piece is checked against its published garment measurements (body length, chest, sleeve, rise and inseam) and ranked by how well it fits your height.

A smaller size label usually takes width off along with length. On a shorter frame the smallest size can still run long in the body or sleeve, or fit the length but pull across the chest. Leumas grades length, chest and sleeve separately for every size at your height, so you can see which size gets all of them right, or which one misses and by how much.

From the maker's published size chart for each piece: finished garment dimensions, measured flat. Small differences between pieces are normal in production, and the product page shows the maker's tolerance where it is published. Where a piece has not yet been checked on a physical sample, the product page says so.

Your height is enough. Adding your weight sets your build (slim, regular or broad), and you can add your waist, inseam and chest, plus whether you like a closer, regular or relaxed cut. Your profile is saved on your device only; no account is needed.

Fits: every graded measurement of that size falls in the right range for your height and build. Close fit: the nearest miss is within 2 cm, the measuring tolerance of a size chart. Doesn't fit: at least one measurement misses by more than 2 cm, and the product page names which one (for example, body length too long by 4 cm) so you can decide for yourself.

When more than one size passes every check, the recommendation follows your cut preference: the smallest passing size for a closer fit, the largest for a relaxed fit, and the middle one for regular.

Sizes are graded for every height from 150 cm. The shop and menu also group pieces for 160 cm and under, 161–165 cm and 166–170 cm. If you are outside a piece's graded range, it is graded at the nearest height it covers and the product page tells you.

Each size's body length is compared with a target that scales with your height and with the style of the piece, so a cropped jacket and a hip-length shirt are not held to the same length.

By sleeve reach: the distance from the centre back of the neck to the cuff, taken as half the shoulder width plus the sleeve length. A long sleeve should end at the wrist for your height, within a small window. A short sleeve must end above the elbow. Dropped-shoulder cuts make the reach an estimate, and the product page flags it.

The garment's chest circumference must leave enough room over a typical chest for your height and build (set by your weight), with more room allowed in jackets, puffers and coats so a knit fits underneath.

Leg length (the inseam, or the outside leg less the rise where the maker lists only that) is compared with a target for your height, with a different allowance for trousers, jeans and cropped styles. The front rise is checked too, so the waistband does not sit too high on a shorter torso.

On their outside leg length for your height: shorts must end at or above the knee, and 7/8-length trousers below the knee and above the ankle.

Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe and choose the size whose foot-length range includes it; that range is the maker's own chart and is the most reliable guide. UK and US/Canadian sizes follow the foot length where the maker gives it, otherwise the standard men's conversion, and can differ by half a size.

Yes. Where the maker lists it, the product page gives the height added by the sole or by a lift built inside the shoe, in centimetres.

Yes. Unworn, unwashed items with tags attached can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unless the product page says otherwise. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or was mislabelled.
